DREAMWORK SEMINAR PROGRAMME for 2024
In 2024 the Dreamwork Seminars will be presented by Margaret Toland & Di Bachelor
Margaret Toland
(Diploma Counselling HD&TI, Certified Applied Dreamwork, MNZAC). Initially, I worked as a registered nurse and midwife in religious life. with the Marist Missionary Sisters. In 1992 dreams became important, spiritually, and intuitively deepening my awareness and calling in the healing ministry. In 1995 with support and trusting the guidance of my dreams the direction of life changed after 32 years of vowed life, to working voluntarily within an inter-denominational, international, professional team caring for abandoned children in China. Back in NZ while working as a Plunket Nurse I completed my counselling training at Human Development Training Institute in 2008 and Applied Dreamwork in 2010. Currently, I work at Friendship House in Manukau. The late Margaret Bowater was my tutor and mentor, particularly in dreamwork. I’m also a founding member of Dream Network Aotearoa New Zealand and continue to support this work and facilitate Margaret’s Dreamwork Programme. |
Di Bachelor
(B Ed, Dip Teach, PG Dip Science, Certificate of Applied Dreamwork, PG Cert Counselling) After graduating as a teacher, I taught for a short period and then worked for the Department of Conservation, mainly on small islands. I also taught First Aid for NZ Red Cross. I had been interested in dreams for a long time and between 2015 and 2020 I completed Margaret Bowater’s courses, attended DNANZ conferences, and completed the Applied Certificate in Dreamwork. Since 2021 I have served on the DNANZ Executive Committee. At the 2023 DNANZ Conference, having recently completed my Post Grad Certificate in Counselling, I presented a talk on Visitation Dreams and Near-Death Experiences. I aim to teach and support others in their learning, growth, and development from understanding the imagery, emotions and activity within their dream world and how their dreams are connected to their life journey and experiences and day-to-day world. Being with a group sharing dreams we accumulate knowledge and perception through different experiences of life. Supported by Margaret Bowater’s knowledge and expertise in the field and science of Dreams, for this year I will accompany Margaret Toland sharing in and supporting the dream workshops at Mercy Wellsprings as advertised. |
