Bev discovered a fascination with dreams when she started her counselling training in the late 1990’s and also undertook Jungian analysis at the same time. She has a particular interest in the development of the personality as reflected in dream symbols, in finding safety and understanding around disturbing dreams, and in noticing series of dreams, and recurring dreams. She works in the field of addictions and offers dreamwork in her private practice, often working with dream symbols through drawing. Lynette is a practising Auckland counsellor with a particular interest in Dream Therapy. She has been a full member of the NZAC for many years and is head of counselling in a busy South Auckland school. Since her teens Lynette has kept a dream diary analysing her own dreams. Later she worked in partnership with her husband in peer analysis. This was particularly therapeutic in handling his death through cancer. Lynette's dreamwork has been published in the NZAC Counselling Today magazine and also internationally in Dream Time magazine.

Certificates in Applied Dream Network with Margaret Bowater. I have presented at conferences for DNANZ (Dream network Association of New Zealand), Psychosynthesis and Imago Relationships. I am a member and NZ representative for IASD (International Study Association of Dreams) I have just retired as a Registered Psychotherapist, having been in private practice for 25 years. I am now working as a Dream Practitioner.

SSS I met Margaret Bowater over 20 years ago when I trained as a family therapist and counsellor. It was attracted to the study of Dreams and trained under Margaret Bowater’s tutelage. Over the years this has become an area I have continued to develop and have integrated into my professional practice. This is an ongoing and an ever growing area of exploration that is continuing to become integrated into therapeutic practice both in New Zealand and Internationally and I am honoured to be part of this.

As a registered counsellor with the New Zealand Association of Counsellors, I am able to provide dream work in a safe, ethical, and trauma-informed way. The decision to provide this gift is inspired by my own dream life, my travels, and witnessing the benefits clients have gained from integrating dreams into their everyday lives.
